Exam szn?
Let's get through it together
Love is no longer in the air…
Sniff and you’ll inhale the exam tension 😤
There’s last minute PDFs and countless class recordings everywhere..
Tutorials fly left and right as you try to at least do that one assignment that didn’t come when its mates were coming…
very annoying something smh
If this offers any consolation, know that you’re not alone… every department is facing their own hot hot
And while we’re locking in, one secondary school student somewhere is there thinking their mock exam is the worst…
laughs in “sorry for the laugh”
😂😂😂
Oh dear! Before I start wailing in academic anguish, I would love to remind you… Now that exams are here,
1. Yesterday was the best time to start reading but if you haven't started yet, today is still good enough. I don’t advise you to wait any longer.
2. If you’re in 300 level and you didn’t get hostel, squatting is now free and legal. Find someone willing to squat you and follow the due process at the DSA’s office
3. Overnight reading will be permitted in the department (just come with your Department ID Card) to gain entry.
Please obey all rules that apply to the overnight reading; we won’t like to cancel it midway.
4. Do what is best for your brain. Whether it is reading out loud, reading in groups, cramming, overnight reading, reading and writing, please choose a revision method that will help you achieve good grades, and not admission into the hospital.
5. Dear friend, again, I’m dead serious about avoiding hospital admissions. Mind your health, eat healthy meals and take breaks.
PS: We’re currently renovating the toilets so please note that the department toilets will be available but it’s usage limited.
If you haven’t, remember to pay your department dues, MCSA dues, and docket fees to avoid any issues with signing your docket.
At the moment, we have printed over 300 ID Cards. To know if yours is ready and when you can pick it up, check the MCSA Community Announcement GC or text the Financial Secretary (Idowu Tamilore - +234 812 439 8586) on WhatsApp.
Dearest darling MCSAite / LIS Student, do not text me with issues that your fellow course mate or your Class Rep can address for you.
I'm saying this because, due to the nature of my schedule, my response time is typically 24 - 72hours after
If you want to reach me urgently, go through your class reps.
I respond to their messages much faster because I know they don’t text except it’s something they can’t handle
I love you but you can also love and talk to other Excos 🤗
This is the last paragraph in the penultimate letter I’ll write to you before I leave for Poland 🇵🇱
Before I travel, I’ll write to you again. Thank you for your congratulatory messages 🙏🏽❤️
Till the next newsletter, never forget that a Future-Ready MCSA is POssible.
Feel free to write back if you have anything to discuss with me
Wishing you the greatest academic comeback,
President Priscilla
