I have ₦50,000 for you🫵

Here's how to get it...

"Please check out my new piece on Medium and make sure to clap for me 50 times🥹." I get this kind of text from at least one person a day. This and many more, my friend, is what birthed "THE PEN CHRONICLES", the first of its kind.🥳

There is no doubt that Chinua Achebe has so many children, and most of them are currently in this department. And as an association that loves to appreciate her talents, we've opened this challenge, which is designed to foster writing passion amongst our students.

In just ten days, a whooping sum of ₦50,000 and some prizes could be yours to take home. You can check here to see the details of the competition.

I really hope you win, and if you do, remember that I love you more than the 9060951108 people who have told you so, opay okay?.🥹

I'm not begging, it's just the times that we're in.

Also, following our win at the Faculty debate, we've decided to make it easier for those who'd be representing MCSA next. We'd be creating the Debate Club to support and mobilize students who have interest in exposing their argument and debating skills.🎉

On another note, congratulations to our male football team on their 3-1 win against the Department of Social Work. Our female football team had to settle for a draw after a difficult match, kudos to them. And thank you for showing up to cheer them.

But tell me, how are you coping with this scorching heat that doesn't seem to end despite the rain my friend?

Till the next letter,

Seyifunmi.
