MCSA's April Recap

Hey friend,

Have you noticed how 2024 is flying just like a cheetah chasing its prey? I mean, it was just New Year's Eve the other week and now here we are, almost in May. 

It's even more surprising that we are already in the fourth week of this second semester(not in your case tho, you didn't resume early.🌚)

Anyway, April was amazinggggg! So many things happened in the department from bants to gists and even the exclusive offer that I'd be sharing with you in this newsletter. But first, here are the highlights of the exciting things that happened in MCSA this month.

➡️ The UMCAA x MCSA 3-day FREE Workshop

The UMCAA 3-day free workshop happened this month and it was nothing short of spectacular. We had Veterans from various fields like Academic writing, Marketing Communication, Branding, and Film & Content Production amongst others by the industry’s finest, teach and mentor many MCSAites. But even if you didn't learn anything, or win any of the giveaways, you got food at least.😂

➡️ An MCSAite Dropped Powerful Bars At “The Podium” That Made The Opponents Shiver In Their Seat

Look: If you were at the preliminaries of the faculty debate where we came first, I'm sure you're familiar with this line we used to cook Psychology department 😭… "Even if you take your points to the gym, it can never work out." ~ Makinde 2024.

And guess what?

Not only did we cook our opponent, but we also made it to the finals.🔥 But it's not over until we come home with the grand prize. Now if you've resumed school and have started attending classes, you would see that most of the lecturers are giving tons of assignments already. It's like they've been waiting for us to resume so we can feel not only the heat of Unilag sun but also the heat of being a student. Ọmọ, one thing is sure, when I finally graduate, I know the lecturer that I'd payback🙏
