With Freezing Fingers...

I would love to start off with an apology... I promised you one more letter before my travel, but i didn't write to you.

Please forgive me, for I was caught up in sooo much activity. So much you'd think I had nine lives!

If you've ever stayed in the hostel, you know the hassle of moving in - all the shopping, payments, necessary goodbyes and literally everything in-between.

Take that and multiply it by 10, that's how much of a hassle I was in because of my trip.

Please accept my apology... will you?

So... let's catch up

How are you? I see the way your groupchats buzz with tons of messages after some exam papers and can tell that “mewa ń ṣẹlẹ̀ - ten is happening. Hmm “

But I can only hope you're good...

Year 1 and 2 students, you're in our prayers.

Talking about security, you're probably wondering how I've kept the administration running, even in absentia. Here's how I did it:

With the full knowledge and approval of the HoD, and MCSA Staff Adviser, I handed over my duties to the Vice President, Ayomide Adegboro.

While he does the work of representing me in all administrative matters, I still play a supervisory role and stay aware of all important matters in the association.

He's supported by every other Executive member of the Council (elected and appointed).

I can say the council is in full shape now because we have appointed ICE Representatives namely;

1. Olamilekan Oluwashina from 200 level ICE

2. Oluwatosin Akpobi from 300 level ICE

Our apologies for the delay in implementing that.

Also, we're now officially transitioning into Faculty status - it is no more Department of Mass Communication but now Faculty of Communication

Makes me go gbishgbish 😂 

I'll go into the details of that in the next newsletter when I have more details…
